The Camp Lejeune Archery Range is open to all personnel authorized aboard Camp Lejeune; all patrons desiring to use the facilities must provide their own equipment.
In addition to open shooting, the Lejeune Archery Club hosts 3-D Tournaments throughout the year. This is a great way to spend the day with the family and enjoy the company of fellow archers from the surrounding area. Tournaments are typically held monthly, during which 20 3-D targets are placed at unknown distances along the trail network for archers to test their skills.
The courses are well planned and offer a fun challenge for the beginner and seasoned archer alike. Competitors progress through the course, shooting each target and keeping track of their score as they go. You can expect to see a wide variety of animals along the trail, and the life-sized Grizzly Bear and Velociraptor Dinosaur are always a big hit with the kids.
Broadheads and crossbows are prohibited on any portion of the archery range due to the damage they cause to the targets.
